Gold Award

At Dodleston, we work closely with Cheshire Young Carers to support all our children and families who may be or have been young carers.

In June 2026, Dodleston received The Gold School Award which recognises school's commitment in identifying, supporting, and empowering children who have caregiving responsibilities at home, ensuring young carers feel seen, supported, and included.

Mrs Malone and Mrs Rich spent a wonderful evening celebrating the hard work of the schools in the Cheshire area and received the award which was presented by The Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire Lady Alexis Redmond.

Thank you to Mrs Malone for leading and delivering this important work and to Mrs Rich and Mr Moss for their work with our young carers this year.
