About Cheshire Young Carers & Their Work with The Arches Primary School

Cheshire Young Carers is a charity dedicated to identifying and supporting children and young people who help care for a family member. They work closely with schools across Cheshire, including Dodleston CE Primary School, to ensure that young carers are recognised and receive the support they need to thrive both academically and personally. They offer various forms of assistance, from one-to-one support to group activities and respite opportunities.

How to Make a Referral to Cheshire Young Carers

If you are a family member, or if you know a child or young person at Dodleston CE Primary School who you believe is a young carer and could benefit from their support, making a referral is a straightforward process. We encourage you to reach out so they can assess their needs and offer appropriate assistance.

This is a chance for them to learn more about the young person's unique circumstances and for them to understand how Cheshire Young Carers can help. This assessment is always conducted sensitively and with the young person's well-being at its heart.
